Alex joined Sancroft in January 2023 after a six-year investment banking career where he worked on both ECM and M&A corporate transactions across different industries. While working with the investment bank and its clients on sustainability initiatives, Alex also contributed to the development of the London Stock Exchange’s Voluntary Carbon Markets solution.
At Sancroft, Alex has led the design and delivery of multiple projects for corporates, investment managers and banks. These projects have spanned a range of sustainability topics, including sustainability strategy development, climate, human rights, and energy systems.
In 2021, Alex graduated with a Distinction from Imperial College Business School’s Masters programme in Climate Change, Management and Finance, which focussed on the roles of business and finance in accelerating decarbonisation. During this time, he also worked for a climate-tech start-up and co-hosted a sustainability podcast.
