Alongside the growing urgency to respond to climate change, human rights is fast becoming a priority for businesses who are facing more scrutiny and demands from regulators, investors and civil society. The recent extreme weather, from the UK to Pakistan, is a powerful reminder that climate change will have increasingly devastating implications for people and societies.
As part of our commitment to deepening understanding of business-critical issues, Sancroft is delighted to host an evening of expert discussion to examine:
- How the climate crisis, and the business response, is affecting workers and communities
- Why businesses and investors need to take a proactive approach to tackle human rights
- What businesses and investors need to do to respond
