George joined Sancroft in July 2023 and has worked with clients across a variety of industries including waste providers, chemical companies, packaging providers, insurers and pension funds. She has managed a broad range of projects including the mapping of regulation into principles for evolving regulation to support the circular economy, stakeholder engagement strategies, human rights saliency assessments, double materiality processes aligned with CSRD standards and internal policy development.
Prior to Sancroft, George supported luxury businesses with embedding their ESG initiatives into complex businesses and supply chains, sharing best practice recommendations for companies, including Tom Ford Beauty & The Macallan. In 2021, she completed the Oxford Hillary School of Climate Change Course, where she won first prize for her group presentation on the future of electric vehicles which discussed the social impacts relating to the increased demand for key minerals needed for batteries.
Prior to this, George graduated with a First from the University of Sussex in Marketing with a Professional placement year. During her time at Sussex, projects focused on themes relating to Sustainability, from producing a marketing strategy for a local biodynamic farm, to market research on the electric BMW range.
