Dunstan Allison-Hope is an independent consultant specializing in technology, human rights, and disclosure. Dunstan previously spent 20 years at BSR, where he advised technology companies on how to apply the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and led BSR’s efforts on sustainability reporting.
Dunstan has undertaken more than 120 human rights assessments in both voluntary and regulated contexts and contributed to dozens of sustainability reports. Dunstan co-facilitated the creation of the Global Network Initiative, the Responsible Business Alliance, and BSR’s Future of Reporting Working Group.
Dunstan is a Board member of the Christchurch Call Foundation, a multi-stakeholder initiative working to eliminate terrorist and violent extremism content online. Dunstan has a master’s degree in professional studies for sustainable development from Forum for the Future / Middlesex University.
