GameChange Solar is a leading US-based manufacturer of solar trackers and fixed-tilt racking systems, having supplied components for over 43GW of projects.
Sancroft began working with GameChange Solar in 2022, with the initial goal of translating their long-held sustainability principles into a formal, holistic strategy.
Throughout the next three years, we worked alongside GameChange Solar to update their sustainability strategy to reflect business growth and ambition, track improvements over time, and communicate progress clearly.
To craft GameChange Solar’s first ESG Strategy, we undertook a materiality assessment to determine the most important factors to the business. Using this, we developed the strategy alongside a complementary implementation roadmap and indicators to demonstrate progress.
Throughout the relationship, Sancroft has supported GameChange Solar to calculate its Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and sign up to the United Nations Global Compact, including the completion of its first annual Communication on Progress.
Both carbon emissions and UNGC are vital elements of publicly communicating progress on sustainability. Over the multi-year partnership, we worked closely with internal teams to source data, align messaging with business goals and present progress clearly and credibly in drafting the company’s ESG reports in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
