On 29 April 2026, Sancroft held an event which looked at how organisations can build real-world resilience to climate disruption in their supply chains.
Climate risk is already affecting sourcing, production and logistics, particularly in fashion, beauty, retail and textiles, where global sourcing and climate-sensitive materials create complex risks. Opened by Lord Deben, we brought together a panel of Eleanor Winton (foresight strategist), Iain Watt (climate risk and resilience specialist), Ian Whiteford (Sustainable Fibre Alliance) and Abi Fitzjohn (Lush) with sustainability and business leaders.
We explored:
- Using better data to inform climate-related decision-making
- Engaging suppliers on risk and resilience
- Preparing for supply chain disruption and embedding flexibility into business processes
- Opportunities for interactive discussion and networking with sustainability peers
