Alex enjoys working with businesses to enable them to improve their environmental and social impact.
Alex joined Sancroft after four years at the Forward Institute, a non-profit Institute, focused on fostering responsible leadership in organisations across a broad range of industries and sectors. Through working with senior leaders from large, complex organisations, Alex experienced first-hand the challenges they face when addressing their environmental sustainability. This inspired her to study an MSc in Climate Change: Environment, Science and Policy at KCL in which she achieved a Distinction.
Her master’s thesis explored climate change mitigation in the UK’s public sector and the role of transformative organisational change to successfully reduce environmental impact. Alex is now building on this knowledge to support clients to deliver on their ESG and sustainability targets at Sancroft. She values the diversity of work she is exposed to and has particularly enjoyed her recent projects on human rights in construction and the responsible use of AI. Alongside her client work, Alex co-ordinates Sancroft’s newsletter which aims to raise awareness and inspire action on a range of sustainability issues.
