Ailsa Dormon

Consultant

Ailsa joined Sancroft in April 2021 with 4 years’ experience working with clients across a broad range of industries. Ailsa’s career began at a Brand Design and Innovation Agency in which she worked with well-known brands in order to support a sustainable and innovative approach to the design of their products, strategy and communications. After a period of working closely with start-ups developing biotechnology solutions to support design, Ailsa was inspired to move to an Innovation Consultancy in which she led a range of innovation programmes with clients such as: PwC, LV=, P&G, Deloitte, Sanofi and HSBC.

Whilst Ailsa worked on multiple cross-sector projects, she particularly enjoyed her experience in purpose driven innovation, working with a number of consumer facing organisations in order to improve the environmental impact of their products or services. Ailsa now works across a full breadth of environmental and social challenges at Sancroft with specific experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies.

Ailsa has a first-class master’s degree in Physics from The University of Exeter. Ailsa’s masters project and dissertation explored the possibility of a macroscopic analogy to a quantum particle. Whilst completing her masters she also spent a year of study at Sydney University, Australia, in which she was able to develop her artistic passion with darkroom photography and life drawing electives.
