Our former Director Dom de Ville was featured in an interview in The Construction Index warning that contractors will ultimately pay the price for soaring recycling costs as materials producers, distributors and builders’ merchants will raise their prices. For an industry that works on tight margins and uses a large amount of plastic packaging, contractors will need to engage with their suppliers and help them work on solutions to reduce their financial exposure to PRN increases, EPR and plastic tax.
