Rhys began working for Sancroft in Autumn, 2016. As an Analyst he supports the work of Consultants and Associate Directors in a number of areas, with particular interests in sustainability policy, Government relations and stakeholder engagement.
Rhys joined Sancroft from the Parliamentary Office of Nick Hurd MP, Minister of State for Climate Change and Industry.
Having taught and mentored members of London-based gangs and young people permanently excluded from mainstream education, Rhys desired an opportunity to work in corporate social responsibility. A period doing project-work for Finalta gave him a grounding in consultancy.
Rhys holds a BA in Land Economy from Gonville and Caius College, University of Cambridge. He specialised in international development, completing a First Class dissertation on the role of ethnic factions and the resource curse in political stability, in Nigeria and Libya.
