Isabella specialises in Business and Human Rights, ethical trade and sustainability strategy. Isabella joined Sancroft in 2015 after spending two years at Tony Blair’s Africa Governance Initiative, a charity that works with several governments across Africa to help them to deliver their visions for development. She has experience in supporting governments on their Private Sector Development strategies, with a focus on developing the manufacturing industry.
Prior to this, Isabella worked with an agricultural enterprise in Malawi and with the UN’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ethiopia.
Isabella has a degree in Politics and Spanish from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Human Rights from the LSE where her research focused on Business and Human Rights, specifically looking at the challenges of responsibly sourcing tobacco and cotton from Malawi.
